The most effective or best ectomorph workout isn't one that is consistent and uniform from one day to the next. It's one that evolves, grows, and allows for adjustments according to your workout needs.

It's great to be dedicated to the cause of gaining weight even though you know you're a hard gainer and will find your path to greater muscle mass difficult. However, the one common problem that most ectomorphs face as they begin the ectomorph weight training routine is that they over train which leads to unnecessary and potentially damaging muscle stress.

If you play the work smart role and not the work hard role that most hard gainers play in the gym the odds of you seeing lasting results are much higher. Since most hard gainers don't see results in the first couple weeks they tend to train even harder to get the results, which has an adverse effect on the body by not getting you the results at all.

Here are a few tips that can help you avoid common problems that often impact beginning ectomorph training programs.

First, most people forget to warm up. It might sound silly, but even taking some time the day before to warm up the muscle groups you will be using the next day will benefit you. By avoiding excess strain that you will be putting on cold muscle you will help decrease the amount of time it takes your muscles to recover and increase the chances of getting an effective workout.

2) Don't overlook the importance of cardiovascular training. Most people associate this with losing weight but the benefit for hard gainers is that building endurance with year-round cardio is that you're able to burn fat at rest. This means that the weight you gain will be the lean muscle mass ectomorphs are aiming for.

3) Allow plenty of "rest" time between sets. Heavier weights lead to greater strain for muscles. Longer rest periods allow time for your system to recover from what you've just finished.

Fourth, the shorter, yet more frequent workout sessions you give yourself the better. Your workouts will end up being of a higher intensity and being targeted at specific muscle groups so you won't need a lot of time.

These are the types of workouts that are best for an ectomorph so make sure that your routine is tailored to your specific goals and needs. Eating complex carbs before workouts will help you give your body extra fuel to build muscle and implementing more lean proteins, greens vegetables, and low sugar fruits 5-6x a day will help with weight gain.

If you continue to incorporate these tips into your workout you'll see real results in the mirror over time that are sure to please. You will have to do some things that others aren't willing to do. When you do these, you'll also get what they won't.

With everybody looking for a faster way to get fitter, there is an abundance of misleading information in the fitness industry cashing in on those who are looking to discover how to lose weight quickly. It's not unusual to hear people claiming they can teach you how to get a six pack in 3 minutes per day, or help you build muscle in one hour per week. Like most industries, hype is dominant in health and fitness.

However, it isn't all bad news. In fact, just because every new gimmick claims to yield quick results doesn't mean that quick results are not achievable.

The biggest problem when it comes to training your midsection is the amount of contradicting information on the best approaches to adopt. There is not one perfect training method and a bunch of wrong ones, different things work for different people. But the sheer volume of different opinions often simply confuses people to the point of quitting because they don't know where to start.

If you have a friend telling you about a training method they have got results with but then another friend warning you that they tried the same thing and got nowhere fast, it's easy to discourage yourself. Good old trial and error still plays a major role in finding the perfect fitness plan for an individual.

While each exercise routine must be specific to your body, the basics of fitness remain the same for all of us.

The three movements in this workout are designed to not only strengthen your abs but also toughen the areas around it. By strengthening the muscles around your stomach you will notice that results come far easier. This workout only takes three minutes, but you'll earn your results.

* The Mountain Climber

* Crunches with knees at ninety degrees

* Plank Variation (instead of being on your forearms and wrists you'll be elevated up onto your hands in the push-up starting position)

Your task is to work through each move for thirty seconds before switching to the next exercise in the routine. The results here come not only from the fact that each exercise is proven, but also from the high intensity you're working at. Intensity is key, so try to make the transitional period between each exercise the only rest you allow yourself to take. Two rounds will take you 3 minutes. If you can handle it, you can increase the workout to five minutes by adding in an optional third round.

So, in a world where you often hear of people doing 2500 crunches per day, why is this very short session so effective? There are four main reasons why, here they are:

* By learning how to train with no equipment you unlock all kinds of new workout opportunities.

* The focus is on time, not reps. This encourages you to simply work as hard as you physically can, while keeping you under a very strict time target that enables you to fit this workout into any busy schedule.

* High intensity is the key to increased fat loss. While many people like to do this with their cardio workouts, few people learn that they can also apply the same technique to different styles of training, such as circuits and weights.

* While most people enjoy pushing themselves with cardiovascular training or trying to beat personal best's on weights, few people have anything to strive for while hitting their midsection. There's no challenge. The challenge is what's going to push you to new results.

If you've been lost with your fitness, don't worry because you're not alone. It would be quite safe to wage a bet that most people in your local gym don't really know how to lose weight despite training regularly for years, such is the confusion regarding health and fitness. Providing you combine this information with a sensible diet, learning how to get a six pack in 3 minutes doesn't seem impossible.

Despite the popularity of gyms around the world, most people do not know how to lose weight and keep it off. The same goes for building muscle - most people have no idea how to correct their diet in order to maximize lean muscular gains.

You needn't worry, though. Learning how to do this is not very complex at all.

Both weight loss and lean muscle gain can be attributed to one particular aspect of your diet and that is your calorific intake. If you consume less calories, the general rule is that you will lose some pounds. Likewise, those who increase their calorie intake should expect to see an increase when they step on to the scales.

However, it would be quite foolish to set yourself a good calorie target and then neglect to go a little bit further. By learning how to optimize your intake of protein, carbohydrates and fats you will only enhance your results even further. []

Don't worry, though, working out your daily intake of calories is not rocket science - although it is needlessly over complicated by many in the fitness industry. In order to establish not only how many calories you should be eating per day, but also where those calories should be coming from, then try the following equation:

* Total daily calories = target body weight in pounds x 15.

If you wanted to bulk up to 180 lbs, for example, you would do the following sum: 180 x 15 = 2700. This now sets you a goal of 2700 calories per day.

* Total daily protein intake = 30% of overall calories divided by 4.

The individual here, who wants to weigh 180 lbs, would need to eat 202g protein each day. That's because 30% of his calories is 810, we then divide this by 4 which is the number of calories in one single gram of protein. That's how we get our answer.

* Your daily carbs = 55% of your calories, divided by four.

Our highest intake when trying to bulk up is carbohydrates. We need 371 grams per day for the individual in question here. That's because we need 55% of our calorie target coming from carb sources.

* Fats = 15% of our calorie target, divided by 9.

Healthy fats are one of the key strategies behind building a better body in a very short space of time. 15% of our calorie target here would be 405 in total. Divide this by 9, you'll get a fat intake of roughly 45 grams per day.

Alongside your other two macronutrients and your total calorie target, you now have the foundation of a proven muscle building diet. Alternatively, if your goal is to learn how to lose weight you can enjoy similar success by simply playing around with this proven principle and finding a balance which works for your body.method for weight loss
